Precio: 86.000 € (UK) Motor: V8, 4395cc, Bi-Turbo Potencia: 407cv a 5500-6500rpm Par (Nm): 600Nm a 1750-4500rpm Transmisión: 8-Vel auto. trasera Velocidad Máxima: 250Km/h (limitada) 0 - 100Km/h: 5.0 segundos Co2: 249 g/km A la venta: Marzo 2011 What is it? It’s BMW’s all-new 6-Series Convertible. Based around the 7-Series saloon’s architecture, it’s shorter and, unusually, on sale three months before the new 6-series coupe. In 650i SE trim it costs £73,430. Technical highlights? With a 50 per cent hike in torsional stiffness, it’s gone from overly stiff to terrifically compliant – and all with only a 20kg lift in overall weight. It also gets active rear-wheel steering and the ultra-adjustable Dynamic Drive Control, complete with electrically adjustable damping and anti-roll bars as standard. What’s it like to drive? Actually, for a big lug of an American-aimed machine, it does everything pretty well. The swoopy new interior is more driver-focused and so is the rest of the car. The chassis is well balanced and when you fling it at corners, you find it sticks with admirable commitment. Keep pushing, and you find it corners flat, doesn’t suffer any frightening body roll when you quickly change direction, and just grips and grips. For the most part, bumps don’t affect it unduly, either. For the most part. Hard, sharp hits can send it into a skip, but the stiffer chassis helps to rein that in quickly, without sending a shiver up the overly thick A-pillars. The twin-turbo V8 engine is superb, steaming to 60mph in 5.0sec and proving superbly flexible from most rev ranges, thanks to its 402bhp and 443lb ft maximum outputs. The eight-speed automatic gearbox is brilliant, too, whether you’re shifting manually via the steering-wheel paddles or leaving it to its own devices. It’s also quiet when cruising, and the engine’s superbly deep note only intrudes when you ask it to. Oh, and it achieves a claimed 26.4mpg. How does it compare? The Mercedes-Benz SL is nearly a decade old now, so it’s not quite in the same game anymore and then there’s Audi’s S5, which can’t match the BMW 650i for chassis rigidity. Maserati’s GranCabrio is a very capable car, and topples the BMW for emotive appeal, but it’s considerably more expensive and falls short on the BMW’s torque. Anything else I need to know? We didn’t get the chance to try the 640i, with its turbocharged six-cylinder and 320bhp, which will be the big seller to UK buyers. It’s 100kg lighter (at a not-inconsequential 1840kg) and only 0.7sec slower to 60mph than the 650i. At £65,680, it’s also eight grand cheaper than its more potent sibling and sits three tax bands lower (I vs L, £200 vs £425). Fuente: http://www.evo.co.uk/carreviews/evoc...le_review.html |

Son coches distintos ![]() A mí el morro no me apasiona, pero con lo bonito que es el resto del coche para mi gusto, se compensa. El coupé en negro con unas buenas llantas me parece tan bonito como el anterior, que también lo era. Lo mejor el interior. |
