Linux no reconoce Windows

Hola me encuentro instalando linux Ubuntu 18.04.03 en dual boot con windows 10, pero ubuntu no me reconoce que haya ningun otro SO instalado, ya he desactivado el arranque rápido de windows y probado a arreglar las particiones con el gparted pero no ha servido mi portatil es un hp notebook 15 ay-114ns y el modo de la bios es HEREDADO, y en la bios boot options el legacy support esta activado. Para hacer el usb bootable he usado rufus con esquema de particion MBR

El disco donde vas a hacer la instalación está en ¿GPT? o en MBR .

Si el disco está en GPT , Ubuntu tienes que instalarlo en GPT.

Si el disco está en GPT , Ubuntu tienes que instalarlo en GPT.

Hay una dsitribución de linux llamada grub boot repair o parecido que puede funcionar en estos casos quemándola en un usb, un saludo

NO.

Debes de ir a la última opción que es el particionado manual.

Si le das a esa , instalarás Ubuntu pero borrarás WIN.

Arranca Ubuntu > abre el gparted > redimensiona la partición de WIN para dejarle espacio a ubuntu > a la parte que queda sin formato la formateas en ext4. Aquí tienes un tutorial.


Imaginemos que la nombra sda3 , y es ahí donde instalarás ubuntu.

De hecho podrías hacer solo dos, una para la swap y otra para todo el sistema.

Vale ya he hecho las particiones,esta bien asi deberia iniciar la instalacion ahora y poner en la particion de 220 GB como la particion / ?
