Presentado como Genesis    Hyundai has officially unveiled the Genesis in its home-market today at a private unveiling in South Korea. The "Showcase" event was exclusive to invited members only including reporters, analysts, high-class doctors and lawyers at the Hyundai-Kia Namyang R&D Center. The event also provided the participants to compare the Genesis to mainstream Mercedes-Benz and BMW models. The Genesis is packed with premium features including a standard 6-speed AT, also found in the Veracruz. The Korean model will be available with a 3.3L V6 producing 265 horsepower, and a 3.8L V6 producing 305 horsepower. The North American models will receive the 3.8L and a 4.6L Tau V8 that produces a staggering 380 horsepower. This means the Genesis is neck-in-neck with the Lexus LS460 and 18 more horsepower than the Pontiac G8 GT. The Genesis is also featured with Smart Cruise Control (SCC), Adaptive Headlamps, Driver Information System, and a Harman/Becker Lexicon Audio System. Lexicons are currently only found in the Rolls-Royce Phantom. Other goodies include push-start button and electronic stability control. As the nomenclature describes, the Genesis is only the brand's beginning of a fresh start and the perception-changer for consumers throughout the world. The Korean Genesis will be Hyundai badge-free, with only emblems touting 'Genesis' scattered throughout the exterior and interior of the vehicle. The North American models will still receive the Hyundai badges. comentar, que se ven dos modelos diferentes... igual el genesis se divide en dos  uno mas grande para competir contra los a8 y compañia y otro mas peque para competir con los serie 5 y compañia... serian: i50 - audi a6, serie 5, clase E... i70 - audi a8, serie 7, clase S... |

| se supone que si, otra cosa será ver si los dos modelos que aparecen o solo el que compite contra los serie 5, a6 etc... |

| El interior está mucho más currado que los demás coreanos a la venta actualmente... Pero siguen fallando en empeñarse en poner un volante de 4 radios en lugar de uno de tres. |

La parrilla no me agrada mucho la parte trasera tiene del Sonata, del Accord y algo del actual serie 3 sedan solo que alargado, pero se le nota mucha presencia. bien por Hyundai. |

Desde luego Hyundai se ha puesto las pilas,bravo por la marca. Hay hau dos modelos,una berlina media y otra mas grande,me gusta en especial la primera. Llevan un rollo "muy Lexus" salvando las distancias,y eso solo puede ser bueno para la marca. Saludos. |

El frontal me recuerda vagamente al Honda Legend. Hyundai se está poniendo las pilas en temas de calidad y en diseño poco a poco van acercándose al estilo europeo. Bien por Hyundai. |

Tiene buena pinta puede competir con las grandes (segun materiales). Por detras tiene un toque de BMW serie 5 y Ford Mondeo y por delante de faros CLS y Honda Legend con parrila Chrysler. El interior bonito |

Vaya con Hyundai.... desde luego prometen mucho sus nuevos modelos... tienen muy buena pinta...
