BMW is starting its first tests of the upcoming all new BMW 5 Series in public in the roads of Munich. The photos, taken this afternoon, are showing a first prototype. About 35 years ago BMW started the first 5-series model range and in spring 2010 the 6th generation is scheduled for launch. Internally code named F10, the Bavarian car maker is developing an all new car. Its styling is overseen by BMW’s head designer Adrian van Hooydonk. The next 5-series will be equipped with an eight speed automatic transmission. Four wheel drive will be optional, and a large choice of engines – four – six- and eight cylinders - will be available. A year later the M5 version will be due, and there will also be a 5-series wagon some time later. Besides the Park Distance Control, the new 5-series will get also wide angle cameras integrated into the side mirrors to provide an overall view around the car. Furthermore BMW’s engineers and designers are about to create a four door coupe based on the new 5-series. With this, BMW will enter the trendy market of four door coupes dominated today by Mercedes with the CLS, which sold over 100.000 units since October 2004. Audi joins in with the A7 four door coupe in 2009, and BMW ‘s 5-series coupe will be the last one to defend itself against the competitors.       Parece que será bonito...

| No será un Serie 7??? Fijaros en el culo... De todas formas me parece precioso, la línea que está sacando últimamente BMW me parece impresionante, excepto el X3, desde el Serie 1 hasta el 7, incluyendo el X5 me parecen auténticas obras de arte. |

no podria asegurarlo, pero el serie 7 va un poco mas destapado, y el morro se le ve bien los dos riñones tipicos... pero ni idea... |

Coño... ya sé que es un chop.... estamos en 2007 no va a haber fotos definitivas del modelo de 2010.... pero por las recreaciones que se ven por ahi los tiros van más por las fotos que puse que por el otro... Ademas el otro ya salio en una revista hace un tiempo hablando que era la replica al CSL |

Coño... ya sé que es un chop.... estamos en 2007 no va a haber fotos definitivas del modelo de 2010.... pero por las recreaciones que se ven por ahi los tiros van más por las fotos que puse que por el otro...
Ademas el otro ya salio en una revista hace un tiempo hablando que era la replica al CSL p.d.: a ver si autobild se pone a hacer sus chops

esta foto si concuerda más con el camuflado.... por los cristales y dimensiones... Ademas tambien salio un chop del serie 7 y la linea va en este sentido.... También viendo el X5 nuevo y el X6 pues parece que se parece bastante a lo que podrá venir.

Bueno, yo creo que con esto se ve que es un serie 5 probandose...que es la primera linea del mensaje tened en cuenta que el serie 7 lleva tambien mucho tiempo tapado y todavia no se sabe mucho... The photos, taken this afternoon, are showing a first prototype. y con estas fotos espias del serie 7 creo que se ve que por las formas no se parecen...  en mi opinion en las fotos del primer mensaje no se parecen a las que aparecen aqui... |

Las primeras fotos que habeis puesto: El frontal muy bonito, pero el coche quisieron hacer un estilo Mercedes CLS y... le quedó un morro enorme y el culo demasiado corto, es decir... se ve que quisieron acabar ya el coche y al final se ve un poco raro

Yo no veo un Serie 5 ahí, veo una copia del concepto del CLS. Por cierto, me gusta más el CLS.  Veremos como se dan los aconteciemientos. ..saludos.. |
