Team history: Autosport Designs has been in existence for 18 years and has been involved in racing since its inception. Tom has been Ferrari Challenge Champion twice and Barry was the crew chief in both instances. In 2002 they entered three Grand am Races, Lime Rock, The Daytona 24 Hours, Road America and Trois Riviere finishing 11th overall at Daytona and third at Trois Riviere. The other driver, Johnny Mowlem brings his race wins and a wealth of experience in all forms of racing to the team.

Team highlights: This will be fielding two DBRS9s in the SCCA SPEED World GT Championship starting on March 17th at Sebring and culminating nine races later at Mazda Raceway, Laguna Seca in Monterey California in October. The two cars were delivered to Autosport Designs Racing in FIA spec in late February and early March 2006 and we have worked long hours preparing these two cars to meet SCCA Series Specifications. Tuesday, March 14th 2006 will be the first time the team will experience running these cars.
